I am going to need a machete to cut through this tangled issue. A pen is not enough.

So let me offer you a starting point: a man is never a bully, and a bully will never be a man.

I know that we spent a lot of ink discussing men's relationship with sex. Men also have a relationship with violence. We fight.

So let's return to that starting point. Manhood requires self-restraint. We only use force when the situation warrants it. Self-defense. Protection. Service (military, police). Violence in this context bound by rules. We never throw the first punch. And we never punch down.

Bullies are not bound by rules. They freely beat on people who cannot fight back. It's an easy win.

If we had a true patriarchy, we can expel and shun the bullies who fail manhood. And there would be no issues with beating up a bully, since that would conform with the obligation to protect. Bullies need victims.

This get complicated when we empower bullies with badges and guns. They are allowed to hit you. You are not allowed to hit back (self-defense). OK, they are beating up people you do not like. Once they (ICE) are through with with them, they will come for you. Bullies do not go out of business when their "mission is accomplished". They look for new victims.

Law enforcement is bound by law. Cops may chafe at the rules from time to time, but in the end they follow the rules. That's what makes them cops. When the cops go rogue, the law will catch up with them. Maybe not right away, but it does.

There are some in ICE who think they can do no wrong. They even shot pepper balls at Chicago PD. When the next government comes in, the bullies will be the ones to wear the cuffs. And I hope they have good defense counsel, because they will be going to trial.

Remember: A bully can only stand tall when he makes someone else shorter.

A man always stands tall.

Keep making excuses. Heavily armed men do not need to throw an aged solitary man on the ground with such force that they send him to the hospital.

Brilliant non-answer Jay. Make a statement with no evidence and then claim something nebulous that no one can hold YOU accountable for. Here's your sign. And please tell me how this relates to the wife being thrown to the ground. The car wash owner (an American who snuck in NOWHERE) being thrown to the ground?

Conservatives rely on direct observation and direct experience to make a judgment. Did you go to Mexico? Did you see Mexican police arrest and beat illegal immigrants?

If the answer is no, then common sense cannot be applied.

If the answer is yes, then you've made your point.

And you also become a journalist.
